Madonna Celebrates Her 50th Birthday

Madonna celebrated her 50th birthday with her husband Guy Ritchie at the Volstead club in London’s West End (16 August). Ritchie, keen to give Madonna the ultimate birthday gift, has given in to her demands to adopt a second Malawian child.

According to Guinness World Records, Madonna is the most successful female solo artist, selling around 120 million albums and 40 million singles - a combined total more than any other female.

Madonna’s Charity Receives $500,000 Donation From Alex Rodriguez

“Give It 2 Me” singer Madonna was spotted making her way to her private gym in London, England today.

There’s a good news for Madonna, Baseball star Alex Rodriguez has just agreed to donate his cash for Madonna’s charity Raising Malawi.

A New York Daily News source reports, “They’ve asked him for a million dollars, and I hear he’s agreed to give at least $500,000.” But Raising Malawi director Philippe van den Bossche is keeping tight-lipped about the amount. He told press, “Obviously when you’re talking about donors, these are private things. I would never reveal information about any donor.”

Madonna Boosts Up Energy

Madonna and daughter Lourdes Leon were snapped walking out of the the Kabbalah Center in New York City on Friday night. Madonna looks better than last week.

Last week Madonna received enormous press over photos in which she looked  down which her rep responded by saying: “I just think the photographer got a bad shot of her or it was touched up to make her look bad. I saw Madonna two days before at her rehearsal and she looked amazing — glowing skin and working really hard on her show.”
