Queen Eldest Grandchild Peter Phillips Gets Married
Saturday, May 17, 2008
Princess Anne’s son, Peter Phillips has married his Canadian fiancée Autumn Kelly at the Berkshire castle’s St George’s Chapel today.

The couple met at the Montreal Grand Prix in 2003 while Peter Phillips was working with the Williams Formula 1 team. Peter did not tell Autumn that he was the Queen’s eldest grandson and 11th in line to the throne. She learnt the truth only after she spotted him in a television programme about Prince William.
Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip attended the ceremony which is the first wedding of one of their grandchildren.

Guests also include Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Prince Harry, his girlfriend Chelsy Davy, who met the Queen for the first time, and Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton attended the ceremony.
Prince William is unable to attend as he is at a friend’s wedding in Kenya. Kate Middleton has been invited to represent the couple.
The reception and dance will be held at Windsor Castle’s opulent Frogmore House.
