INSPIRATION
New sexy glam, a new heroine of the Japanese comic genre ‘Manga’, accentuates femininity and the voluminous curves of the modern woman. Glam doesn’t refer to the Rock world but is interpreted to the futuristic and whimsical world of Japanese comics.
A new silhouette is made to give an overly voluptuous form; providing a woman with a new silhouette and a way for her to skip plastic surgery.
COLOUR
Black and numerous shades of grey and bordeaux. Colours are inspired by futuristic visions: brilliant fuchsia, orange, turquoise, blue, yellow, green and purple.
VOLUME
It is a mixture of opposites: extremely short versus long, fitted opposed oversized. The common silhouette is banished and replaced with a cut that is truly anatomical.
FABRICS
Classic fabrics and high-tech materials are juxtaposed in the most innovative way. PVC in multiple shades, satin, silk organza, silk stretch jersey, stretch cotton, silk plastic, silk Mikado, silk chiffon, elastic corseting, painted silk satin, feathered PVC, denim and Dolce & Gabbana exclusive French embroideries.
ACCESSORIES
Shoes: varnished PVC, embossed crocodile PVC, Plexiglas PVC. The heel is realized in steel and is inspired by the futuristic designer Ettore Sottsass. Plexiglas platforms reach 17 cm high. Bags: multiple variations of mini bags done in plastic, crocodile, and vinyl; mobile phone cases and ipod holders.
FINALE
13 different hand painted and embroidered dresses embellished with unusual and uniquely shaped pailettes given the impression of an abstract painters canvas.
